The Sunday Post: Off to Oxford

If you follow me on instagram you'll know that for my Grandad's 80th birthday the fam and I, mozied on over to Oxford to look around his old college. Oxford is such a lovely place with beautiful buildings and so much to do which makes it perfect for a lazy Sunday ramble around the little lanes and historic cul-de-sacs. So if you're in the area, (or if you just like seeing pretty Oxford colleges) then this is the post for you!

It's not always possible to access all the colleges unless your relative is a current or former alumni but you can pay to go on tours of some of the big colleges such as New College. Below is my Grandad showing us around Queen's where he was a student over sixty years ago!

Here is the Chapel where Grandad was once a choir boy!

This is the Library - looks like something out of Harry Potter!

It was a really lovely day, made special by revisiting the College with my Grandad but it would make a perfect day out for anyone who enjoys a bit of history and cute, quaint little Oxfordian streets, winding passages and an abundance of cosy coffee shops.

Love Elle xo
