The Blogger Made Me Buy It...

After doing my daily sweep of YouTube vids a few weeks ago I noticed a brilliant one by Connie from DizzyBrunette3 where she talked about the ultimate enablers in blogland. Discussing how she was bitten by the pesky blogger bug, Connie describes how swoon-inducing posts by some of her fave bloggers led to a fair few blogger-enabled purchases.

When scanning my makeup bag and skin care stash it got me thinking about how many products I've picked up with the blogger seal of approval in mind - the answer is the majority! So whilst my piggy bank takes a hit and my drawers steadily groan under the weight of yet more beauty purchases, I can't help but nod with Connie in agreement, 'coz The Blogger Made me Buy It...

The first offender comes from Anna of Vivianna Does Makeup. I read her blog everyday for a daily dose of all things beauty. But be warned, her blog will have you sketching out a "lust list" quicker than you can say "oooh perdyyy". Anna has spawned dozens of purchases, but my fave one has to be the Seche Vite top coat, this stuff dries fast

Lily from Lily Pebbles is another absolute veteran when it comes to enabling. Having tried and tested a sizeable chunk of cosmetics finest, Lily knows her stuff and I really trust her opinions. From luxury lustings to high street must-haves, Lily's got your back. But my top pick from her has to be the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush because it gives you a youthful, fresh-looking wash of colour to your cheeks in seconds!

Next up is Amelia Liana, from Liana Beauty. Her taste is impeccable and she's tested her way through a good few high end products, which is why when she hits the high street she can see a dupe a mile off! Her latest selection of high end quality products for high street prices has had me running to Boots franticly waving my Advantage Card. The latest Amelia-Enabled purchases? They would have to be the L'Oreal True Match Foundation which I mentioned here, and the Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Texturising Spray, dupes, I'm told, for Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation and Oribe's Dry Texturising Spray. Now I can't comment as I haven't tried the originals, but I can say the L'Oreal equivalent is a gorgeous, creamy, luxurious texture that leaves my skin looking and feeling perf and the CW Volume and Bounce Spray helps me give Simba a run for his money, shake that mane.

So that's it for today, but having ransacked my drawers and spotted a ton of other blogger-enabled purchases I've still got a fair few naughty enablers nestled on my list to be "named and shamed blamed" next time, because how is one to resist the tantalising reviews and recommendations of these ladies? I'm telling you...  The Blogger Made Me Buy It!
