The Sunday Post

Everyone knows that Sunday is "the day of rest" which is why I think that it should be obligatory after a hard week, that come Sunday, a lazy afternoon snuggling under the duvet with a DVD and your fave candle should be on the cards. A makeup free day is essential, and if you're going to bare all why not give the old face a spring clean while you're at it? Here's what I like to use...

First up, my face mask of choice this sunday was the Apivita Express Beauty with Honey face mask. It costs £3 for 2 which isn't too pricey and is a great way to try the product out to see if you like it without having to spend the $$$ on a mask that you're not sure that you'll get on with. There are tons of flavours(??) to choose from, I also have Pomegranate primed and ready for action in my stash and I have my eye on their Pink Clay offering too which may have to be my next purchase. But back to the mask of the moment... the Honey mask is gentle, moisturising and nourishing. I have sensitive skin but this caused no flare ups and it smells so soothing and relaxing. I applied it to my freshly washed face, waited 10 minutes and then washed it off to reveal soft, radiant skin... Not gonna lie, my face felt like a baby's bum, and I dig it.

I followed things up with a layer of my Avene Soothing Moisture Mask. Now it says its a mask but I like to use this more as a moisturiser so I apply a thin layer all over my face as I would do with a normal moisturiser and then just leave it to do its thang. Again baby-soft skin seems to follow from application and I even managed to wave goodbye to a pesky patch of dry skin lurking on my cheek, auf wiedersehn blotches...

So face done. F.R.I.E.N.D.S box set? Why hello there...

Love Elle xo
