Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

I thought I'd do a more lifestyley post today as I went to Felixtowe for a day at the seaside with friends. Fish and chips on the promenade, a spot of sunbathing and some chillaxing in my friends' adorable beach hut made for a pretty perfect day. So here's my guide to a beautiful day on the beach...

Bring a towel... An obvious one, but this small, fluffy rectangle is a super multi-tasker whether it's to dry off after a dip in the sea or to double up as a blanket in those chilly coastal winds, your beach towel can be your new bff.

Pack hand sanitizer... After Mr Whippy has had his wicked way, primped palms turn into sticky paws, which quickly attract sand and grit. Not a pretty look. Here's where hand sanitizer comes in nice and handy (excuse the pun). But if all else fails and you have no sanitizer to hand (sorry, I couldn't help myself...) you can always dip your paws in the sea.

Stock up on the suncream... Again, another obvious one. But, long gone are the days of my childhood where sun cream meant being nabbed by your mum before white greasy hands descended across your face and limbs. Now more lightweight solutions like the delicious smelling range by Hawaiian Tropics mean smelling like a Pina Colada has never been more fun.

Enjoy the sunshine... England so rarely sees the sun, so whilst its here why not lap it up! Seaside days are what it's all about. So round up your friends, pack up the car and hit the beach!
