Boots Haul

I've been frequenting Boots pretty regularly over the last few weeks to browse for skin care and cosmetics. But a few items have caught my eye and my bank card so I thought I'd share my recent purchases with you guys...

First things first, if you follow my twitter you'll already know how excited I was to find the Bumble and Bumble Mini Travel Kit. They've been sitting pride of place in my shower room for a couple of weeks now. And having had time to try them a review will follow in the next few days.

Next up, Hydraluron has been taking the blogging world by storm ever since that recommendation from the cult skin care Queen herself Caroline Hirons. And being a bit of a sucker for the hype, I thought I'd jump on board that bandwagon... And I've not been disappointed! I'll review this more fully when I've given it a good test run, but being a more recent purchase I've only used it a handful of times.

My penchant for crayon-formulation lip products is well known amongst my friends, so when I saw this beautiful pinky-peach Bourjois Paris Colour Boost Lip Crayon offering I instantly loved it. And no, it's not because of the adorable name "Peach on the Beach"... However, my one reservation with this product is that I naturally have quite berry coloured lips so to create a colour that replicates the casing I have to apply an 80's style coat of concealer to my pout before applying the crayon.

Next up I bought the SEVENTEEN Wild Metallic Cream Eyeshadow in Wild Nude to add to my cream shadow collection which is largely made up of Bronze shades and I'd been scouting around for a more nude colour for a while to provide a more neutral base so when I saw this mentioned in Zoe's recent Boots haul I thought I'd like in on the action.

Finally the Natural Collection Solo Eyeshadow in "Crushed Walnut" is a repurchase and makes for a super cheap dupe for MAC's Charcoal Brown which is why I use it to fill in my brows. It's nicely pigmented and only £1.79 people!

So that concludes my Boots Haul. What items have been catching your eye in the Drug Store?
