I'm a self-confessed Blush addict. I don't know what it is about that rosy hue but I'm hooked! Coral, babydoll pink, tangerine, berry... I have a favourite for every occasion. Which is why, when it came to naming my top tint, it was just too hard! So, in no particular order, here's my top five.

First up is Benefit's Coralista Blush which is probably reached for most. It comes complete with a handy little brush (though I haven't really used it), it smells incredible and it deposits a beautiful glowing coral colour onto the cheeks. It has just the right amount of pigment to make your face look bright and fresh without looking too overdone. A firm favourite, Coralista serves me well all year round, but especially now as we're coming into the summer months!

Now my second pick may be cheating slightly since the Sleek Blush By 3 palette has 3 shades as the name suggests (so technically I only managed to narrow my blushes down to the top 7) but it comes in one palette, complete with a massive mirror. It's slim and sleek (get it *tumbleweed*...) so its perfect to slip into your handbag. But the best part? It gives you options people! I chose the shade Lace which includes a beautiful tangerine which looks perfect in the summer with a tan, a rosey pink with flecks of gold, which I use the most and a dark daring coral colour which looks scary in the pan but when applied gently to the cheeks looks lovely. My tip with this palette though is to use a light hand, these little beauts are super pigmented so a little goes a long way!

For dewy looking cheeks I like to use Head Over Heels from Topshop which has a creamy texture and blends seamlessly into my foundation for a lovely coral glow (I think coral is a recurring theme here...) The only problem I have with Topshop makeup in general is the packaging. I know most people love it and yes it does look adorable but in terms of practicality, the white surface gets grubby so easily when tossed into my makeup bag, which is a real shame as I like to keep my makeup in good condition.

For warmer days when the creamy texture is too much (and a little melty) I love the NARS Multiples, formulated for eyes, cheeks and lips. I only really ever use mine on my cheeks and whilst I'd consider using this tint on my lips I don't think it would ever make it to my eyes. I have the shade Riviera which is a light berry colour. It's easy to apply as it is fairly sheer so it applies just the right amount of product, plus though it's a creamy texture, it has real staying power and feels luxurious. My only qualm is the hefty price tag.

For budget blush, Natural Collection is my go to brand. They have some gorgeous shades but my favourite is probably Pink Cloud which is a lovely light pink though I love me some Peach Melba too. They're less pigmented than some of the others but when applied fairly generously they give the cheeks a beautiful subtle tint and at £1.99 they are an absolute steal!

As for the winner? It would have to be Coralista, no Nars, Sleek? Umm Topshop, or Natural Collection? Eeeeh I really can't decide! I guess the only thing for it is to keep all five handy.

So those are the shades that keep me blushing. What is your favourite blush?
